The fall was a whirlwind of shows shows shows and the winter's been a lot of cozy hours locked away with my notebook refining a manuscript of love as colored by grief. I featured at Berklee at their erotic-themed Valentine's Day show where I overshared about my sex life in a leather dress, but that was anything but typical. Mostly, the past few months have been quiet. Since descending into this unrelenting winter, I've had work appear in print almost as frequently as New England has had to dig itself out from under a foot of snow. Here's a list of all the awesome places that have given my words a home in the past few months:
apt - "On Giving Up Your Ghost" & "Pavlov"
FreezeRay - "Teenage Dream Redux" & "Rated R Redux"
Gigantic Sequins - "de Los Muertos"
Muzzle Magazine - "The Ballad of Sexual Adventure"
theNewerYork Press- "The Hindenburg Crash in 11 Theories"
If you're in Beantown, tomorrow night John Mortara is featuring at Moonlighting in Jamaica Plain, and I suggest you join me in the audience for the purpose of thawing a heart frozen by this long, treacherous winter.
