Welcome To My Bed

The very best.

Tonight, I welded together a sculpture of a hug with rusty scrap metal. It's really basic, but I love it.

This is the best birthday I've had in a very long time: two funfetti cakes, chai/"green" tea, Pushing Daisies, and too many wonderful things to even pull them all out of my brain. Cos I am so beat right now. Riding a mountain bike through New England late-nights will do that I guess. All I know is that everything went better than according to plan. I don't want to go to sleep, because I don't want it to end, for me to have to wake up in the morning and do homework for hours before class. Maybe I'll take one of my free passes for tomorrow, just to rest and enjoy being lazy for once. I do so love being lazy, and pretty much everyone knows I didn't get to be lazy today.

Special thanks to BBW's, the old man delivery boy who brought me my pizza around eleven o'clock, and Mod 78 for being such a wonderful man posse. And my polaroid camera, for instant memories of just how mindlessly I've been smiling all day long, including the special minute or two this afternoon when my little brother called me just to sing the "happy birthday" song. The only thing that could've made this day more perfect is Maggie, but Brooklyn's a hike, especially on a Monday night during foundation year.
